15 Hand-Picked Hosting Affiliate Programs (Recurring and Non Recurring Commissions)

Last updated on Aug 20, 2025

A percentage of the revenue of this blog comes from affiliate marketing. We proportionally promote reputable hosting services like Cloudways and Rocket.net and earn commissions for every customer subscribing via our affiliate links.

Web hosting is one of the best industries if you want to make money via affiliate marketing.

Most hosting services offer a high affiliate commission rate. Pressable, for instance, will give you $200 per referral.

If you want to build a more sustainable revenue, there are also some hosting services that offer affiliate programs with recurring commissions.

I have crafted a list of web hosting services that have the best affiliate programs.

Shortcuts ⤵️

Things to Note Before Joining an Affiliate Program from a Web Hosting Service

I strongly recommend you to join an affiliate program that offers recurring commissions.

Why?

Because generating a new sale is not easy. It’s extremely hard. Especially if you rely on SEO.

We are living in the zero-click searches era as a result of Google AI Overviews. Your post may appear on the first page of Google SERP, but it won’t get decent clicks if what users look for is already available in AI Overviews.

Also, there is no guarantee that your post will always show up on the first page of Google SERP. Once it’s gone, so is your opportunity of generating sales.

So, you need to be smart. Recurring commission is way better than one-time commission for sustainable affiliate marketing business.

Apart from commission scheme, you need to consider the reputation of the hosting company before you join its affiliate program.

If the hosting company has a bad reputation, you should never join its affiliate program. You can use services like G2 and Trustpilot to find the reputation of a hosting company.

Here are some questions to ask before you join an affiliate program of a hosting service company?

  • Does it offer recurring commission?
  • If it only offers one-time commission, is the amount worth it?
  • What about company reputation?
  • Will you have an affiliate manager?

There are several other questions you need to ask, like cookie duration and payment method. But those are the most essential ones.

List of the Best Hosting Affiliate Programs

— with Recurring Commissions

1. Cloudways

Cloudways Affiliate Page

Cloudways is a hosting service that I personally use for my projects. Including this blog. So, it is easy to recommend it because I have personal experience.

Cloudways is not a perfect service (no service is perfect, after all), but it can be an ideal solution if you have multiple WordPress projects. You can use Cloudways to host multiple sites at only $18 per month. Without inode limit like.

I also joined Cloudways affiliate program because it offers lifetime recurring commissions. In Cloudways, you will get a $30 one-time commission per referral plus a 7% lifetime recurring commission. Making it a great solution to build a stable revenue.

What I love most from the Cloudways affiliate program is that it offers a super supportive affiliate manager

You can consult with him if you want to run a certain campaign. Especially a paid campaign.

Cloudways doesn’t build its own affiliate platform. Instead, it uses Post Affiliate Pro which is integrated with its control panel. You can access your affiliate panel from Cloudways hosting panel.

If you are interested in joining Cloudways affiliate program and want to learn more about the service, you can read my review first.

2. Kinsta

Kinsta affiliate program page

Kinsta is a hosting service that has the best affiliate program. Better than Cloudways. It offers a higher recurring commission percentage than Cloudways. In Kinsta, you will get a lifetime recurring commission of 10% instead of 7%.

The one-time commission that Kinsta offers is also higher: starting from $50. The more referrals you get per month, the higher your one-time commission will be.

The best part of being a Kinsta affiliate is that you will have a super clean affiliate dashboard. You can easily monitor how many active referrals you already have.

Kinsta uses a custom-built affiliate platform for their affiliate program instead of using a third-party affiliate platform.

The problem with Kinsta if you want to join its affiliate program is that it has a high starting price. The lowest hosting plan that Kinsta offers priced at $35 per month.

You need to work hard educating your audience about Kinsta features and benefits to make sales.

EasyWP is a hosting service from Namecheap. The service is designed specifically for WordPress and positioned to be an affordable hosting solution for WordPress.

However, you can only use EasyWP to host a single site per subscription. So, it is an ideal solition for individuals wanting to build a website for their own business.

EasyWP also offers an affiliate program with recurring commissions. Just like Cloudways and Kinsta.

Unfortunately, the recurring commissions are not lifetime. Instead, you will only get affiliate commissions for the first 5 renewals. The percentage is 25%.

4. Rocket.net

Rocket.net Affiliate Program Page

If you have a blog or YouTube channel that covers WordPress optimization a lot, then promoting Rocket.net to your audience is a great fit.

Rocket.net is a hosting service that offers instant high performance. You don’t need to install any optimization plugin to get a high score on PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix.

You will get a significant site performance improvement on Rocket.net because the hosting service is integrated with Cloudflare Enterprise.

You will be able to enjoy optimization features like CDN, caching and image optimization. They are available as core features instead of add-ons like, for instance, Cloudways.

The challenge you will face when promoting Rocket.net to your audience is the same as Kinsta.

Rocket.net is a pricey enough hosting service. It has the lowest hosting plan priced at $30 per month. You need to build a solid persuasive narration to promote a hosting with this high starter plan.

Summary

Web hosting is one of the best industries if you want to make money from affiliate marketing. That’s because most hosting providers offer a high commission rate. Some even offer lifetime recurring to allow you to build a steady passive income.

For web hosting affiliate programs that don’t offer recurring commissions, I pick only the ones that offer the minimum commission of $50 per sale.

There are several other hosting services I curated before publishing the list, but I eventually removed them from the list because I couldn’t find clear information from their affiliate program page.

I also excluded hosting services that I personally don’t recommend.

From my own experience of making money from affiliate marketing, I personally recommend you to join affiliate programs that offer recurring commissions because getting traffic is hard. Let alone generating sales.

Cloudways and Kinsta are the perfect solutions if you want build MRR from affiliate marketing by promoting web hosting services.
