FireBox

A multi-purpose popup builder with a bunch of features to collect leads and boost sales

FireBox is a popup builder plugin for WordPress that uses Gutenberg as the editor. This means that the process of popup creation is done on Gutenberg, the editor you are already familiar with.

When creating a popup using FireBox, you can add any block to your popup. Be it WordPress built-in blocks or blocks from a plugin installed on your website (e.g., GenerateBlocks).

FireBox itself also comes with a set of blocks, including the Form block which you can use to collect leads. You can connect your form to popular email marketing platforms like MailerLite, MailChimp, GetResponse, etc.

If you prefer to manage leads on your website, FireBox also comes with a form submissions manager feature.

To make it easy for you to create a popup, FireBox offers prebuilt popup templates which you can pick according to the type of popup you want to create.

FireBox allows you to create the following popup types:

  • Modal popup
  • Slide-in popup
  • Fullscreen popup
  • Notification bar
  • Floating banner

Regarding the popup behavior, FireBox allows you to display a popup based on several trigger types. Such as on click, page load, hover, exit intent, after inactivity, and so on.

To allow you to monitor the performance of your campaigns, FireBox also comes with a useful analytics feature. With this feature, you can learn which popups perform better by viewing the number of times a popup is viewed, the average time each popup is opened, the total form submissions, etc.

FireBox is an underrated plugin that I really love. I use it to create a simple popup to display a form when visitors click the download button on one of my blog posts.

As a blogger whose the blog is still small, this is quite helpful because I can collect email addresses of my visitors without paying the pro version. Manual work is required to transform leads to email newsletter platform I use. Definitely want to upgrade to the pro version once my blog gets bigger.
