Thanks for the support.
Here is the funnel I use to grow my email list while also earning affiliate commissions.
Remember what I said in the second email?
I said that I once wrote a super long blog post covering how to create a website with WordPress.
While I know the blog post was good and helpful, no one read it because it didn’t rank on Google. So, I needed to find another way to deliver the content.
Instead of publishing my content as a single blog post, I splitted it into fragments. But this time, I didn’t publish them (the fragments) as blog posts.
Instead, I delivered the fragments to my subscribers’ inbox using email automation. ConvertKit (soon to be Kit) is an email marketing tool that has this feature.
By the way, I splitted the content into 6 fragments, which I delivered gradually for 6 days with a delay of 24 hours between each email.
Here is the workflow to better understand the concept:
- First, a visitor visits a landing page on your blog which contains an email subscription form
- Second, when she/he hits the subscribe button, your email automation tool (ConvertKit — soon to be Kit — in my case) sends the email sequence

The number of emails you add to your email sequence will depend on the length of your content before you split it.
In my case, I splitted my content into 6 fragments.
You can plug your affiliate links into any of your emails/fragments.
In order to make your subscribers read every single email in your sequence, you can add curiosity at the end section of your emails so they can’t wait to see what you will give them next.
A little tip.
If you plan to use paid ads to drive traffic to the landing page of your funnel, you can lock the last fragment and require your subscribers to make a small amount of payment to access it. Just like I did with this funnel.
That way, you can use the payments you’ve collected from your subscribers to fund your ads. And the money you get from affiliate commissions is pure profit.

With the above funnel, not only can you grow your email list while earning affiliate commissions, but it can also be a great way to start a conversation with your subscribers.
Next time, if you send them a new email, you are no longer a stranger to them.
The Framework I Use to Get $10,000+ from Affiliate Marketing
You already know the funnel I use.
As I promised, I will also show you the framework I use to get $10,000 from affiliate marketing teaching people how to create a blog with WordPress.
First thing first. What is a framework?
In this context, framework is the steps needed to achieve a certain goal. And the goal here is to get $10,000 from affiliate marketing.
Here are the steps in my framework:
- Step 1: Mindset development
In the first email I sent to you, I said that the email list is the most important asset a blogger can have. And it’s true.
While you and I already know about that, most bloggers still don’t understand it. In their mind, blogging is all about SEO.
You need to break this false belief by telling them that blogging is about how to drive traffic (it can be from SEO, social media, to paid ads) and convert the traffic into email subscribers.
There are several false beliefs you need to break in order to make your subscribers have the right blogging mindset.
You can read here to learn how I break the false belief of my subscribers.
- Step 2: Expertise development
Someone wants to start a new blog because they have some things to share. Usually, they want to share what they already know (their knowledge).
For you and me, the knowledge we want to share is about WordPress.
But your subscribers have various expertise areas. Sometimes, they need a little push to find their expertise.
Here is how I do this part.
- Step 3: Blog set up
This is the technical part where you can show your subscribers how to set up a blog with WordPress. This is the ideal place where you can plug your affiliate links into.
You can read here to learn more about how to do this part.
- Step 4: Value development
On this step, you tell your subscribers to create featured content and split it into fragments and deliver them (the fragments) to their subscribers’ inbox.
The featured content should contain a high value because it is what they should be promoting at their best.
Here is how I do this part.
- Step 5: Promotion
Promotion has always been the hardest part of any online business.
On this step, you can help your subscribers to pick the best traffic type they can use to promote their content effectively and efficiently.
By the way, in case you didn’t know, there are three traffic types when it comes to online marketing:
- Traffic you earn: SEO, social media, podcasts, etc
- Traffic you control: Paid traffic (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc)
- Traffic you own: Email list
Here is how I do this part.
That’s it.
I have shared everything with you. The rest is on you.
I recommend you to take action ASAP because only that way you can figure out what’s not working and fix it immediately.
Good luck!
Bonus 🎁
If you truly want to build passive income via affiliate marketing, you can recommend products or services that offer recurring affiliate commissions.
In the WordPress space, some companies that offer lifetime recurring affiliate commissions are:
Here is the full list.
By recommending affiliate products that offer recurring affiliate commissions, no matter how much budget you spend on ads (in case you want to use paid ads), it will always be profitable after the break even.
💡 Quick tip: In business, trust is currency. So, always be honest. Only recommend a product/service if you have tested it.
Here is a simple calculation (I use Kinsta on this example):
Let’s say you want to run ads on Facebook.
On average, Facebook Ads has 1% conversion rate in most industries. Let’s say you plan to spend $2,000 this month, then the math will be like the following:
- Facebook Ads budget: $2,000
- Estimated daily clicks: 203 – 593 (let’s take the lowest number, 203). 203 x 30 (days) = 6090 clicks in total
- Estimated conversion: 6090 x 1% = 60.9 (rounded to 60)
- Estimated commissions you will get: 60 x 50 = $3000
50 is the amount commission for the Starter plan. In addition to this fixed commission, you will also get 10% commission for subscription renewal. Forever.
Meaning that you will earn commissions as long as your referrals remain subscribed.
If you consistently refer 60 new customers per month, you will get the passive income of $5,520/month after a year. You can click here to learn more.
You can stop your ads on Facebook once you think the recurring commissions you earned are enough.
