Adding an Instagram post to a WordPress post
Adding an Instagram post to a WordPress post is extremely easy. Since the release of Gutenberg editor, WordPress has even made it easier for the users to embed social media contents — including Instagram contents — to a post.
To get started, visit the Instagram post you want to add it to your WordPress and copy its URL.
Once you have copied the URL, Switch to WordPress editor and add a new block by clicking the plus icon on the top-left of the editor. On the Embeds section, select Instagram and paste the URL you have copied.
Adding Instagram post in Classic Editor
Gutenberg comes wit more features than the Classic Editor. Still, some users prefer to use Classic Editor instead of Gutenberg. Embedding a social media content requires more steps in the Classic Editor of WordPress. You need to copy the embed code to do so.
To add an Instagram post in the Classic Editor of WordPress first visit the Instagram post you want to add to WordPress. Click the three-dot button and select Embed to copy the embed code.
Once you have copied the embed code, go to the Classic Editor of WordPress and switch to text mode.
